Nareg Dekermenjian of Los Angeles was voted as the 2025 Future Goals™ Most Valuable Teacher winner. He is a fifth-grade teacher at Dixie Canyon Community Charter where he teaches English Language Arts, Math, Science, Health, and Social Studies. Mr. Dekermenjian brings hockey into the classroom to help teach students about perseverance and grit to help them prepare for any obstacles they may face in life.
The Future Goals™ Most Valuable Teacher program is a partnership between the NHL, NHLPA, and Everfi to celebrate teachers that use the sport of hockey to educate and inspire their students.
