Trump’s renewed pressure on Hamas follows Israel telling the UN it’s halving the agreed number of trucks allowed into Gaza on Wednesday. 600 trucks should be entering the strip daily. Israel will only allow 300 on Wednesday. That’s after Israel accused Hamas of violating the ceasefire deal over the return of captives’ bodies. The humanitarian situation inside Gaza remains dire—with an urgent need for extra aid.
