The reigning Stanley Cup champion Panthers clinched their sixth straight playoff berth by virtue of the Devils defeating the Rangers in regulation and the Maple Leafs besting the Blue Jackets. The Panthers will look to become the 10th franchise to win the Stanley Cup in back-to-back seasons and fourth in the past 30 years. Seventeen of the past 18 reigning champions have qualified for the postseason.
