Two Israeli soldiers have been killed in an attack at the Allenby Border Crossing, between Jordan and the occupied West Bank. The Israeli military says the Jordanian attacker—who was a driver bringing in aid for Gaza—was armed with a gun and a knife. He was killed by security forces at the scene. Last year, a Jordanian man opened fire in the same area, killing three people. Israel’s military has now advised the government to block humanitarian aid coming through the crossing.
