Delhi election 2025: India’s capital votes as BJP bids to dislodge rival

Polls have closed in the Indian capital territory of Delhi, where candidates are vying for a place in the 70-seat Legislative Assembly.
Fifteen million people were registered to vote, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) up against the ruling Aam Admi party (AAP), led by his rival and anti-corruption crusader Arvind Kejriwal.
