Fighting in DR Congo has displaced thousands near Goma, with many forced to leave the Bulengo displacement camp. Despite residents’ claims that they were told to leave, the M23 rebels insist that people are returning voluntarily to what they call secured homes in liberated areas. The conflict has left many struggling for safety and basic needs as tensions persist.
