He warned that cases of severe acute malnutrition among children have skyrocketed, with 52 patients in a single day compared to just a handful before. Dr Al-Farra highlighted the dire lack of clean water, outbreaks of waterborne diseases, and the devastating physical and psychological toll on children and families.
