Fentanyl overdoses surge in Mexico as group smuggles life-saving meds from US

Fentanyl use is on the rise in northern Mexico, especially in border areas like Mexicali. With limited access to life-saving medication such as naloxone — a drug that can reverse opioid overdoses — one harm reduction group has taken matters into its own hands. They’re smuggling the medication from the United States to save lives.
