France’s Bayeux Tapestry loan to UK sparks outcry over to 900-year-old artefact

France is preparing to pack up a nearly one-millennium-old tapestry so it can be displayed in the UK for the first time in 900 years.
The famous Bayeux Tapestry is extremely large and extremely fragile.
It depicts the conquest of England by the Normans from France in 1066.
But there are fears the move could cause irreparable damage to the ancient artwork.

Al Jazeera’s Alex Baird reports.
