In Germany, at least 20 people, including children, are reported injured after a man drove a car into a group of people.
The incident happened in Munich during a rally organised by the German trade union Verdi.
Police say the suspect has been arrested and no longer poses any danger.
US Vice President JD Vance and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky are expected to arrive in Munich later on Thursday for a security meeting.
