His comments came shortly after Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei rejected Trump’s demands for an unconditional surrender.
Trump refused to say whether Washington plans to join Israel’s escalating attacks on Iran.
Iran has denied Donald Trump’s claim that Iranian officials asked for a meeting at the White House.
Former British Ambassador to Iran, Richard Dalton, said he is not surprised by Iran’s fiery response to Trump’s demand for it to “surrender”.
