Israel’s war has collapsed Gaza’s healthcare system.
Hospitals have been bombed, medical staff have been attacked and supplies have been blocked.
British Dr James Smith volunteered at Gaza’s Al-Aqsa Hospital in central Deir el-Balah. He described hospital conditions as “horrific” with patients being operated on the floor and even the basic medicines unavailable.
