Liverpool’s Mo Salah criticises UEFA tribute to ‘Palestinian Pele’

Palestinian footballer Suleiman al-Obeid has been killed in an Israeli attack in Gaza as he was waiting for food at a site run by the notorious Gaza Humanitarian Foundation on August the 6th.
The 41-year-old was known as the “Palestinian Pele”, after the famous Brazilian footballer.
Now Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah has criticised Europe’s football governing body UEFA, for posting a tribute without revealing how the former international player died.

Bassil Mikdadi is the founder of FootballPalestine.com.
He says football clubs worldwide are coming under pressure from fans to speak out about Israel’s genocide in Gaza.
