Tension remains high In Madagascar, after a week of youth-led protests against the government. The UN says at least 22 people were killed and more than 100 injured during the past week. Demonstrators are angry over shortages of basic necessities and want the President to resign. The government has dismissed the UN’s figures as ‘misinformation’ and ‘rumours’.
