In one of the least surprising moves possible from the Trump administration, the so-called memorial event for Charlie Kirk was turned into a full-blown MAGA rally with the likes of Stephen Miller, JD Vance, and, of course, Donald Trump, using the event to double down on their hateful rhetoric in a move that has been widely criticized, even by New York Mets broadcaster Gary Cohen when he learned that Chicago Cubs third baseman Matt Shaw left the team before a crucial game so he could attend the rally.
