Across the Occupied West Bank and in Occupied East Jerusalem – Palestinians are marking Prisoners’ Day. It’s commemorated annually to highlight the plight of thousands of detainees, in Israeli jails. The number of Palestinian detainees has doubled since the war on Gaza began in October 2023.
Al Jazeera’s Nour Odeh reports from Amman, that’s because the Israeli government and the Palestinian Authority have banned Al Jazeera from reporting inside Israel and the Occupied West Bank.
