Bell Shakespeare presents William Shakespeare’s comedy about love and secret identities. Viola is shipwrecked and believes her twin Sebastian misplaced to the ocean. Washed up in an odd new land, decided to outlive, Viola disguises herself as a person named Cesario and finds work with Duke Orsino, solely to fall head over heels in love with him. However Orsino is in love with Olivia, who – grieving for her brother – refuses all presents of romance – till she meets Cesario. A whirlwind of ardour ensues, leaving nobody unaffected, not even Olivia’s prudish housekeeper Malvolia.
