Ward Sakeik, who was detained by ICE officials as she returned from her honeymoon in the US Virgin Islands, has been released after nearly five months in detention, an attorney representing her confirmed to CNN affiliate WFAA. Despite being “stateless” and living in the US since she was eight years old, ICE detained her and attempted to deport her twice – according to attorneys – even after telling ICE she was allowed to be in the country legally. CNN’s Danny Freeman speaks with Sakeik and her lawyer Eric Lee. #CNN #News
