Though it has been stated before ad nauseam, it’s never a bad time to highlight the differences between concepts like LGBTQIA+ pride, Black pride, etc., and something like white pride, which is used to cynically launder white supremacist ideology under the guise of ‘pride in one’s heritage’ since ‘whiteness’ itself is a social construct that’s changed definitions and included/excluded certain groups of people over time.
