As Israel’s struggle on Gaza persists for over half a 12 months, many college college students in the US have expressed solidarity with Palestinians.
College students at Columbia College arrange a Gaza solidarity encampment and have referred to as on the College to sever ties to Israel. Tensions escalated on April 18 after college officers referred to as in police to arrest protesters. Dozens of scholars confronted suspensions and had been evicted from campus housing.
Since then, comparable protests have sprung up from coast to coast – and so they’ve been met with comparable crackdowns within the title of security. Is free speech being threatened at American universities?
