Boris Johnson has confirmed that he’ll attend the Cop27 local weather change summit in Egypt which begins on Sunday.
The transfer will add to strain on Rishi Sunak to attend the worldwide assembly, after the prime minister initially mentioned he wouldn’t go.
Since then, Mr Sunak has left open the chance he may attend, with a No 10 spokesman saying he can be depending on progress with the autumn fiscal assertion.
Mr Johnson informed Sky Information that he had been invited by Egypt, following the UK’s position as host of final 12 months’s talks, and was “very blissful to go”.
He mentioned: “I occur to have a selected curiosity.”
