Michael Gove has defended Boris Johnson over his controversial Jimmy Savile feedback as we speak, saying he has nothing to apologise for.

He added: “I feel this can be a uniquely delicate subject and it does should be dealt with with care, and I pay attention with huge respect to those that act for victims of the actions of a horrible, horrible prison.
“However – and it’s not a topic that I wish to dwell on as a result of it’s uniquely delicate – it’s the case that the CPS apologised for the dealing with of this case and what occurred in 2009, and I feel we should always acknowledge that an apology was given on the time and respect that.”
He added: “Keir Starmer acknowledged that errors had been made by the organisation of which he was head, to his credit score. He was very clear about these errors.”
The Commons speaker Sir Lindsay Hoyle rebuked the PM however stopped wanting demanding an apology.
Hoyle stated he was dissatisfied in regards to the state of the discourse, however added: “I’m removed from happy that the feedback in query have been applicable on this event.
“I wish to see extra compassionate, affordable politics on this home and these kind of feedback can solely inflame opinions.”
