French liner CMA CGM will transfer into bigger, new premises at Yokohama port in 4 years time. The world’s third-largest service has signed a deal to maneuver from terminal D4 to D5 at Yokohama in October 2026, a swap that guarantees extra container yard capability and a doubling of reefer plugs.
The D5 terminal can have a cargo berth with three quay cranes, a quay size of 400 m and a draft of 16 m. It would characteristic chilly ironing amenities in addition to being close to present LNG bunkering infrastructure on the port.
