A Nile crocodile turned on its handler at a KwaZulu-Natal reptile park, biting him throughout a public present on 10 September.
The crocodile handler at KZN’s Crocodile Creek sustained wounds to his hand and thigh, in line with The South African, and though that is the primary incident with this crocodile, it isn’t the primary crocodile assault at Crocodile Creek.
However, the handler apparently sowed the injuries himself and was again at work 20 minutes later. The Nile crocodile, named Hannibal, is a 78-year-old 660 kg crocodile. Watched the incident beneath.
