After months of reported silence from the nationwide authorities and finally an Intergovernmental Dispute initiated by the Western Cape Authorities, American service Delta Air Traces’ utility to fly a triangular route between Atlanta, Johannesburg and Cape City has lastly been accredited.
‘We stay dedicated to working with the nationwide authorities to seek out options to the challenges we face,’ David Maynier, WC Provincial Minister of Finance and Financial Alternatives mentioned.
‘However the intergovernmental dispute course of is ongoing in order that we:
– make sure that all international operator allow purposes are processed in accordance with current nationwide coverage, laws and agreements; and
– make sure that all international operator allow purposes are processed by the accountable particular person, which on this case is the Chairperson of the Worldwide Air Providers Council, with administrative assist from the Nationwide Division of Transport.
