President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has issued a decree to kind a board of trustees of the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM).
The board could be chaired by President Sisi and could be in cost for 3 years.
Overseas members of the board embrace Japanese politician Tarō Asō, Director of Kyoto Nationwide Museum Johei Sasaki, Chairman of the Saudi House Company (SSA) Prince Sultan bin Salman, the director of the Metropolitan Museum of Artwork, and the secretary-general of the World Tourism Group.
The Egyptian board members embrace the ministers of tourism, tradition and finance, in addition to the director of Bibliotheca Alexandrina (BA).
