ifteen folks have been arrested throughout a policing operation in east Leicester “to discourage additional dysfunction” on Sunday evening.
It comes after two arrests have been made when police stated disturbances broke out at an unplanned protest on Saturday evening and Sunday morning.
In an announcement, Leicestershire Police stated: “Officers grew to become conscious of teams of younger males gathering on Sunday afternoon within the North Evington space of the town.
“Officers spoke to them and took steps, together with setting up a short lived police cordon, to minimise hurt and disturbance to communities.”
The pressure added all fifteen remained in coverage custody simply handed midnight on Monday morning.
