When fall and winter storms ship turbulent waves throughout Lake Erie, Canadian photographer Trevor Pottelberg paperwork the risky eruptions that burst from the water’s floor. Going through winds as much as 60 miles per hour, he frames large waves as they emerge in dramatic outbursts, leaving sprays of icy mist and ripples of their wake. The monumental swells are energetic and immensely sturdy, showcasing the formidable energy of nature.
Based mostly in Brownsville, Ontario, Pottelberg teaches pictures at Fanshawe Faculty and can have a wide range of panorama and animal photographs on view at Elm Hurst Inn & Spa in Ingersoll beginning in December.
