A research pavilion designed on the campus of the Technical College of Braunschweig and the Gabriel García Márquez Library in Barcelona have been named by the Fundació Mies van der Rohe and the European Fee because the profitable tasks within the 2024 iteration of the EU Prize for Modern Structure/Mies van der Rohe Awards, or EUmies.
Berlin-based Gustav Düsing and Max Hacke, the designers behind the research pavilion, are the youngest ever winners of the Structure Prize. In his endorsement of the research pavilion at Technical College of Braunschweig, juror Niklas Maak stated the constructing is a premonition of “the way forward for German development.”
