The local weather emergency is defining the lives of billions of individuals world wide, with a viable future for successive generations depending on pressing collective efforts to sort out international heating.
For years, documentary photographers have been witness to the impression of local weather change, each on nature and on communities tormented by excessive climate and air pollution. The work of greater than 40 professionals is the spine of COAL + ICE, a travelling exhibition introduced by Asia Society that visualises each the causes and the implications of the local weather disaster.
The exhibition’s title is impressed by the photographs of Himalayan glaciers and coal miners that introduce guests to the occasion area.
