Israel’s army says Iran has launched quite a few drones at Israel, and it’ll take hours to reach.
This comes practically two weeks after an Israeli assault on the Iranian consulate in Syria killed seven members of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
Israel’s military’s spokesman, Daniel Hagari, mentioned late on Saturday that Iran launched the drones from inside its personal territory, and that Israel was ready.
Israel has been on heightened alert since its assault on Damascus on April 1, although it didn’t touch upon the assault. Iran vowed revenge and a retaliatory assault has been anticipated.
Earlier on Saturday, Iranian armed forces seized a container ship linked to Israel close to the Strait of Hormuz.
President Benjamin Netanyahu mentioned on Saturday that Israel was ready for a “direct assault from Iran”.
And Defence Minister Yoav Gallant mentioned Israel was “intently monitoring a deliberate assault” towards it by Iran and its allies within the area.
