In her first public feedback since her husband was attacked, Home Speaker Nancy Pelosi stated her household was “heartbroken and traumatized” by the brutal assault — however his situation is enhancing.
Paul Pelosi was violently attacked with a hammer by an intruder who broke into the couple’s residence in San Francisco early Friday morning. The Home Speaker was not in San Francisco on the time of the assault.
“Yesterday morning, a violent man broke into our household residence, demanded to confront me and brutally attacked my husband Paul,” she stated in a letter addressed to Home colleagues.
“Our kids, our grandchildren and I are heartbroken and traumatized by the life-threatening assault on our Pop.”
Paul Pelosi, 82, has since gone by way of a profitable surgical procedure to restore a cranium fracture and severe accidents to his proper arm and palms, Pelosi’s spokesman stated on Friday.
