Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has revived a push to shut down Al Jazeera in Israel.
The Israeli chief demanded on Monday that his coalition authorities put together to push laws via the Knesset that will enable the prime minister to close down overseas information networks.
Netanyahu, who has lengthy sought to shutter broadcasts from the Qatari-based media outlet, promised to “instantly act to shut Al Jazeera” following the regulation’s adoption, based on an announcement from his Likud social gathering.
