Julian Agyeman is a Professor of City and Environmental Coverage and Planning at Tufts College, USA visiting Aotearoa. He’s the originator of the influential idea of simply sustainabilities, which explores the intersecting objectives of social justice and environmental sustainability.
To begin the session, Julian will share his perception, that cities can develop into sustainable, good, sharing and resilient and the way who’s allowed to belong in them (recognition of distinction, variety, and a proper to town) are essentially and inextricably interlinked.
