Charles and Camilla, the Queen Consort, visited the Scottish parliament in Holyrood, Edinburgh, the place they had been greeted by the primary minister, Nicola Sturgeon, and different politicians. Following tributes to the late Queen, Charles stated: ‘By all of the years of her reign, the Queen, like so many generations of our household earlier than her, discovered within the hills of this land and within the hearts of its individuals, a haven and a house’
