Vancouver-based photographer Jennilee Marigomen extends her ongoing examination of on a regular basis phenomena into the realm of the ephemeral. Her newest exhibition, “Sehnsucht,” captures fleeting moments of human intervention and introspection, offering a novel perspective on the transient and ever-changing panorama that usually go unnoticed in our busy lives. A fragile dance between stillness and time, Marigomen makes use of mild, reflections, and color to evoke a way of quiet contemplation:
“A pal launched me to the which means of Sehnsucht, a German noun that represents the emotions concerning the aspects of life which might be unfinished and imperfect, paired with an intense eager for extra excellent outcomes.
