Using the inventive algorithmic powers of the synthetic intelligence instrument Midjourney, scholar and designer Qasim Iqbal envisions elaborate Renaissance-style structure of atypical supplies. Every rendering juxtaposes the standard marbles and stones of Seventeenth-century structure with softer silks and different materials that drape throughout balconies or billow from lavishly constructed components. Tall, vaulted ceilings are cloaked in a mixture of bunched textiles and small, stone caverns, and elaborately designed motifs and allegories emerge from the higher parts of buildings.
Iqbal shares a number of iterations of the imagined Baroque buildings and the easy textual content prompts that generated them on Instagram. (by way of This Isn’t Happiness)
