The son of a politician from the Dominican Republic was fatally shot outdoors a fuel station in Houston on Monday evening in what the police stated they believed was a “focused” drive-by taking pictures.
The Houston Police Division on Wednesday identified the man who was killed as Luis Alfredo Pacheco Rojas, 34, son of Alfredo Pacheco, the president of the Chamber of Deputies of the Dominican Republic. One other 29-year-old man who was injured by gunfire within the assault had not but been publicly recognized.
