Sudan’s overseas minister says the military has restored management over all lands alongside the border that had been taken over by Ethiopian farmers.
“The armed forces have now totally recovered all Sudanese territory,” Minister Omar Qamareddine informed a Khartoum information convention on Thursday.
“The borders have already been demarcated, all that’s remaining in our talks … is rising the border indicators,” Qamareddine stated.
Tensions have flared between the 2 nations over the al-Fashqa area of the border, the place Ethiopian farmers have been cultivating fertile land which is claimed by Sudan.
