The St. Bavo church in Aardenburg, Netherlands has two towers, the taller one has a turret clock and the shorter one I take to be a bell tower. Is the white part above the clock referred to as the lantern. I am assuming the half instantly above that is named the cupola. Is there a time period for the form of the cupola? Under the clock would that be referred to as the belfry, even when there’s a bell tower hooked up to a different portion of the church’s roof? Is there any option to even inform if that may be a belfry?
