A collection of drawings by Australian artist Lucy Ray. At present residing in Abu Dhabi, Ray’s reimagined landscapes are meditations on loneliness and liminality. Composed over fourteen drawings, “The Ghost Who Walks” tells a narrative with no pure narrative. The artworks are quiet and serene with remnants of figures drifting by a seemingly deserted world. The viewer’s expertise is that of taking place upon a scene that’s already performed out — of witnessing the traces left behind for many who got here in late.
