Three South African airports obtained recognition on the 2024 Skytrax World Airport Awards held in Frankfurt, Germany.
Skytrax has operated the World Airline and Airport Star Ranking system for 25 years, assessing airways and airports on high quality and repair since 1999.
The Airports Firm South Africa (ACSA) says these are coveted accolades for airports throughout the globe.

Cape City Worldwide Airport received Finest Airport in Africa and Finest Airport Workers in Africa. This 12 months will mark the ninth-year streak of Cape City Worldwide being named as finest airport in Africa, and the fourth consecutive 12 months for the perfect airport workers on the continent.
King Shaka Worldwide Airport was named Finest Regional Airport in Africa.
OR Tambo Worldwide Airport was ranked third Finest Airport in Africa and likewise received Finest Airport Lodge.
