Tunis/Tunisia — The mission of the Ministry of Tourism “Mountaineering Trails of Tunisia” was launched Tuesday. It’s an initiative launched as a part of the diversification of the tourism product and the promotion of different and sustainable tourism, the ministry stated in an announcement.
This mission can be applied by the German Company for Worldwide Cooperation “GIZ-Tunisia” “in partnership with the Group Leaders Worldwide and with the help of the Venture for the Growth of Sustainable Tourism in Tunisia, which is an initiative of the European Union and the German Federal Ministry of Financial Cooperation and Growth (BMZ), beneath the Programme “Tounes Wijhetouna.
It’s a mission carried out in partnership with the Ministry of Tourism with the purpose of enhancing the geographical range and cultural wealth of Tunisia, growing sustainable and different tourism experiences via the development of mountain climbing trails that assist diversify the tourism provide and create job alternatives within the inside areas.
The purpose of the mission is to contribute to the event and promotion of small different and sustainable tourism tasks by offering them with advertising and marketing alternatives.
The mission may even present help to backpackers’ associations and civil society organisations energetic within the sector.
Talking on the assembly to launch the mission, Minister of Tourism Mohamed Moez Belhassine burdened that his division plans to develop, via this mission, mountain climbing trails that may spotlight the vacationer and pure wealth of Tunisia.
