Tunis/Tunisia — The Promotion of Sustainable Tourism in Tunisia venture, carried out by the German Company for Worldwide Cooperation (GIZ), introduced Monday the launch of a partnership with 4 organisations lively in sustainable tourism. The purpose is to assist the expansion of inclusive tourism in Carthage and Tozeur on the World Tourism Day (September 27).
Associate organisations search to supply guests / vacationers new vacationer experiences that promote the wealthy heritage of town of Carthage and Tozeur .
In Carthage, initiatives have been chosen by representatives of GIZ , the Tourism and Handicrafts Ministry, the municipality of Carthage, the European Union and the Company for Heritage Improvement and cultural Promotion (French: AMVPPC).
The Promotion of Sustainable Tourism in Tunisia venture is a joint motion of the European Union in Tunisia, as a part of the Tounes Wijhetouna programme, and Germany’s Federal Ministry for Financial Cooperation and Improvement (BMZ).
It’s aimed to diversify and strengthen cultural, culinary and out of doors tourism. These actions are consistent with measures designed to make sure the event of tourism throughout the globe.
