Two youngsters, aged 15 and 16, have been charged with the murders of 16-year-olds Charlie Bartolo and Kearne Solanke in south-east London, the Metropolitan police have stated.
Kearne was stabbed in Titmuss Avenue, Thamesmead, and Charlie was present in Sewell Street, Abbey Wooden, on Saturday.
The Met stated a 16-year-old boy had been arrested on Tuesday and a 15-year-old boy later within the day. They are going to seem at Bromley magistrates court docket on Friday.
The Met was known as at about 5.10pm on Saturday to experiences that two individuals had been injured a mile aside. “Regardless of the most effective efforts of the emergency providers, each boys sadly died,” the pressure stated.
Detectives from the Met’s specialist crime command had been investigating.
