The Spanish Ministry of Protection has introduced plans to ship extra Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine.
The choice entails the overhaul and commissioning of 19 Leopard 2A4 primary battle tanks, which will likely be deployed to bolster Ukraine’s frontline forces.
The chosen contractor for this important endeavor is Normal Dynamics European Land Programs (GDELS) Santa Bárbara Sistemas, tasked with the refurbishment and restoration of the Leopard 2A4 tanks to operational readiness.
