A lady in her 60s has died after being attacked by canine at a property in central Liverpool.
Merseyside police stated North West ambulance service paramedics reported the assault at St Brigids Crescent in Kirkdale at about 4.25pm on Monday. The girl was pronounced useless on the scene and her family members have been informed.
Police have launched an investigation and a cordon is in place on the scene. Det Insp Gavin Mulcahy appealed for anybody with info to come back ahead.
He stated: “We perceive the shock this incident will trigger in the local people and past.
“Our officers are on the scene finishing up additional inquiries, so you probably have any info please tell us.”
