Dr. Bandy Lee was on the Psych school of Yale College. Lee tweeted critically about Alan Dershowitz, a lawyer to Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein who’s himself the goal of allegations of sexual misconduct. Dershowitz can also be the creator of a e book titled Cancel Tradition: The Newest Assault on Free Speech. Lee was fired by Yale over her criticism of Trump and Dershowitz, she says, after Dershowitz wrote to her employers to demand she be disciplined.
Lee’s criticism alleges that Yale fired her in response to a January 2020 tweet that characterised “nearly all” of former president Donald Trump’s supporters as affected by “shared psychosis” and stated that Alan Dershowitz, a lawyer on Trump’s authorized staff, had “wholly taken on Trump’s signs by contagion.” Dershowitz responded to the tweet with a letter to Yale directors, wherein he complained that Lee’s tweet constituted “a critical violation of the ethics guidelines of the American Psychiatric Affiliation” and requested that she be disciplined.
In a world of gross males banging on about free speech whereas continuously attempting to silence others by means of censorship and litigation, Dershowitz is exemplary and has longstanding type.
