Srinagar: Two Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) terrorists have been killed in an in a single day encounter with safety forces within the Sopore space of Baramulla district in Jammu and Kashmir, police stated on Thursday.
The encounter broke out within the Bomai space of Sopore city Wednesday evening after the safety forces launched a cordon-and-search operation, a police official stated.
He stated two terrorists have been gunned down by the safety personnel within the operation. A civilian additionally sustained accidents within the trade of fireplace.
The terrorists have been affiliated with proscribed terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed, a senior police officer stated, including that the duo was planning assaults on civilians.
